sndconfig problems

Please help. I just installed RedHat Linux 5.0. I go into sndconfig to configure the sound, click 'ok' on the first dialog box, and I get the following message.
Segmentation fault
Core dumped
It might have been in a different order, but that is what it said. Anyone know what I can do? Thanks in advance.
