Strange Netscape behavior

I had Netscape Communicator 4.07 installed on my RH 5.1 network and we
decided to use separate mail, news and web browsers rather than the
combined one. I tried to uninstall the program using rpm -e (since I had
installed the rpm initially). That didn't work, so I used locate and find
to identify every communicator file and I removed each one. Then I
installed Netscape Navigator 4.07.

Now, when I type 'netscape' within an xterm I get the error message that
the system had trouble finding /usr/bin/netscape-communicator. I cannot
find where 'communicator' is being refereced. in /usr/bin,
netscape-navigator is a link to netscape and /usr/lib has no communicator
files.

I'm baffled and stymied. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong.

TIA,

Rich
