Adam,
"Appropriate?" Perhaps. But, I keep them in /home/rshepard/RMPS. That
way they're available in one place, but protected from other users. FWIW,
I have another directory, /home/rshepard/new_files, in which I keep the
.tar and .gz files installed on my network.
