I would use /dev/cua1, some would suggest /dev/ttyS1. Try 'em both, use
whichever works for you.
You will also need to "set modem xxx" and "set speed 2400", where xxx is
some reasonable approximation of the modem type. Perhaps just plain old
"set modem hayes" would work.
