You should'nt need to build a new one (unless you need the exercise).
Try using 'insmod -f' and then 'lsmod' to make sure it took. It may seem
messy but every time i fiddle with the kernel this module complains but
usually continues to function.
The real fun starts with the termcap entries, save your energy... There is a
filePro termcap for linux i found via their website. They seem to be getting
around to acknowledging that linux exist.
