Hello,

I have configured a machine in my DNS as this :

in /var/named/pz/named.etud.insa-tlse.fr :
modem2	IN	A	193.50.229.246
in /var/named/pz/name.229.50.193.in-addr.arpa (for reverse) :
246	IN	PTR	modem2.etud.insa-tlse.fr.

I have changed 'serial' in each, turned off named then turned it on.

When I ping modem2, the good machine is pinged.
When I ping 193.50.229.246, the good machine is pinged.

I want to install the system on this box with the RH Base disk. When I
choose method : NFS Image for installation,
I get on tty3 (errors) : reverse name lookup failed.

And on tty1, the installation continues. But when it tries to mount the
remote directory, I get : Permission denied (for mountig).

This is due to the problem described before (reverse name lookup failed)
but I can't see where is the problem on my DNS and what can I do to
correct it.

TIA,

Lionel
