Even now it would help if the actual list archives got rotated on a regular
basis - because if they are small enough, it is possible to use the list
server functions to grep through the list archives (i.e. mail to
redhat-list-request@redhat.com, Subject: archive, Body: commands (start with
"help" to get more info)). It's a bit tedious, but still better than no
search machine at all.
