Not everyone has the bandwidth to make filtering the painless option you

While web enhanced Email *may* have its place in one-to-one or one-to-few
communication, in one-to-many, like mailing lists and newsgroups, it is
simply a
waste of bandwidth.
Now that microsoft exchange server has been forced on us for almost a year,
I've yet to recieve a fancy format internal message that was easier to read
or conveyed information more accurately because of the fonts or colors, to
the contrary many have been nearly impossible to read because of poor font
and color choices.
I'm afraid that the "enhanced" Email is just another example of typical
business communication needs where "how it looks" is more important than
"what it says".
