Hi,
Can anyone tell me whether Xfree86 supports this card? I know it uses the
Rage Pro chipset, but when my friend installed xfree86 and tried starting
the x server, the screen just blanks out, and the computer froze and he
had to reboot, then when he checked the log xfree is complaining about
chip idset mismatch for the ati rage pro chipset??? does anyone know why?
I will get him to tell me the exact error messages .... but if anyone can
help out in the meantime it will be greatly appreciated...
