I have been running Redhat 5.0 and upgraded to 5.1 recently. Under 5.0 I
have had no problems using fetchmail for downloading mail or using sound.
After I went to 5.1 when I try to get my mail (using the same .fetchmailrc
file) it tells me that I have 20 messages. The first one is 3k in size.
When it downloads it, it seems to digest all the mail. I get all messages
in the first one. Then the second message downloads with the same results
only minus the first message. What is causing this?

Also, when I recompile the kernel to include soundblaster support, I run
sndconfig --noprobe and enter my correct numbers and it tells me that the
modprobe (I think that is what it said) failed. I am still new (9 months)
to Linux and could sure use some help regarding this.

Thanks
Gary
