Hi,
today I have to bother you with my printing problems for the third (and
hopefully last) time ;-)
Question one:
I want to have poeple from a remote host printing via a RH5.1 printer
server to some network printer. At the moment it looks as if only poeple
from the remote host who also have an accnount on the printer server are
allowed to use the printer. But the 'rs'-flag int /etc/printcap ist not
set... So why can't they just use the printer.
Question two:
My printer is a HP Laserjet4000n; so when I configured the printer I told
the setuptool to use the HP LJ IV/5/6 filter - and this works pretty good
except that the printed file is not really centered on the page, but
rather shifted a bit (probably .5 cm)to the top. So what option could I
use to get that straight. Oh yeah, just wondering if there is a way to
tell the filter to address the printer with 1200x1200 dpi to get the best
possible results...
So, now I guess I really have asked all I might need to know...
Thanks
Ciao Jan
