hmm. maybe you can tell us about the -hackable- machines more. I'd really
like to know what tools-strategies that you used to hack. That's not because
I want to hack, that's because I want to make my database server more
secure.

Do you mean port scanning here?

I only have 2 ports open, one the database connectivity port, the other is
ssh port. is this hackable?
