Yes. It's a pain, but it does work. You'll need to upgrade the BIOS to
work with the 450 processors, though, and you'll need to boot that stupid
config utility off of CD-ROM (and Intel motherboards refuse to boot off of
SCSI CD-ROM, so you'll need an IDE CD-ROM).
Somebody mentioned to me that he thought he was having BIOS problems with
his N440BX. I replied "I think Intel motherboards ARE a BIOS problem."
That is why I told the boss "Dump the Intel stuff, we're going to Asus."
Asus has the sweetest BIOS on the planet -- if you don't believe me, go to
Tom's Hardware Guide, he has the same opinion.
