It's one of the flavors of the month to send with email/news. It's a
virtual business card, where you can put contact info, phone numbers
etc. MSIE and others attach it with your message and it comes up in mail
apps able to use them as a little cardfile type thingy. Others get them
as plain text, which looks goofy. Like HTML postings, they are abused
and most of the time the person using them has done so for novelty
value...IMHO :)
