Hi All,

After setting up several IP aliases I noticed that on restart I get lots of
error messages (one for each virtual IP, one for the real IP, and one for
AppleTalk (which should not have been compiled into the kernel))

Oct 25 07:03:27 modprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-4
AppleTalk 0.17 for Linux NET3.035
Oct 25 07:03:28 modprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-4
eth0: vortex_open() Internal Config 00020012
eth0: vortex_open() IRQ 11 media status 8800
SIOCADDRT:  Network is unreachable
Oct 25 07:03:29 modprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-4
Oct 25 07:03:29 modprobe: Can't locate module net-pf-4
SIOCADDRT:  Network is unreachable
.
.
.

the last three lines repeat for each virtual IP number. I disabled all
aliasing and I still get the top error messages (i.e. the AppleTalk one and
the eth0: and SIOCADDRT one)

what is net-pf-4 module??? and why is the network unreachable? am I doing
things out of order??

The system does seem to function normally, but I hate to see all of these
error messages at startup.

(I also get a "/proc/scsi/scsi: no such file or directory" error,
eventhough I do not have a scsi card)

Thanks,

-avi
