rebooting while calibrating delay loop !

I am trying to load redhat on my P II machine (300
Mhz) , While booting it from the boot image
floppy It reboots after outputting the following
line
calibrating delay loop....
I suspect the problem is with my PCI device (VGA
card) because when I tried to see the error
listings they read
Probing PCI device
Unknown PCI hardware
please help me out..
