For those of you who replied, thanks for all your help. I got to thinking (after reading the replies), that some extra RAM probably couldn't hurt any. I was running with 32M, so I went to Best Buy and picked up 2 more 16Ms to beef it up to 64M. It made a great difference. I have tried to duplicate the problem, and have been unable to. I am running KDE, which is an extreem memory hog, so I think that could have been part of my problem as well. Again, thanks for the input...all seems to be well,
