I have this ext2 partition mounted which I use mostly for downloading =
and mucking around.
Recently, I attempted to download the powertools RPMs to it, not =
realizing beforehand that I was low
on disk space. Naturally when the disk ran out the ftp crapped out. The =
surprising thing was the partition was totally obliterated! I mentioned =
this to a friend and he told me that (on Unix systems) it was a known =
problem and you have to be careful of running out of disk space because =
this might happen. Any thoughts or opinions? Verification?
