The client program isn't required for any OS or browser. It just gives
some remote admin facilities. What's the exact problem you have? It
could be just a problem with your proxy settings.

Subject: Linux netscape messager to use MS proxy server?
Hi,
=A0
We got a MS proxy server at work but the Linux netscape communicator
messager
program just could work proper [brower worked fine].
=A0
For MS IE we must install a proxy client in order to use the proxy
server, is there
similiar proxy client program in communicator? or, any other =
suggestions
for
re-solving this problem?
=A0
