the dialup script should be /usr/sbin/ppp-on.  Use ifconfig ppp0 to 
check if your dialed up (if there are numbers aside from 0's listed 
under inet addr: P-t-P: and Mask: your connected).  At least that's how 
I do it.  There might be an easier way.
