Please anyone note: the packages we've put on www.broadwaynet.com are not tested nor recommended to be installed on RH 4.0 systems. RH 4.0 comes with a much nicer thing - PAM. Our development efforts are concentrated on producing RH 4.0 compatible packages - this means that we want to bring the extra features of the shadow packages to RH 4.0 systems. A release date is still far away, but work is in progress. I have not tried myself our packages on RH 4.0 systems, so I can not tell you wheter they will work or not, what problems you may have, etc. I recommend to all of you to wait for a RH 4.0 compatible release of these packages (in fact we will release a RPM with a development version of PAm and maybe an updated shadow-utils package, since with PAM theoretically there is no need to recompile the apps to add functionality to your systems...)
