As a matter of fact, the Word 2.0 filters we've got at work function better
than the Word 6.0 filters. The first set of Word 6.0 filters we received
didn't handle imbedded objects very well; they've improved since then. The
filters are pretty much essential to us in order to move data between a
sparc network and a pc network.
One of my current projects is bringing in a set of the newer Office 95
filters to test their functionality.
