The values get set in
/usr/X11/lib/X11/app-defaults/NXTerm
If you want to change the defaults for everyone on your system, then change
the colors in this file. If you want to change the color for just you, then
place
nxterm*background: White
nxterm*foregrond: Black
in ~/.Xdefaults
