The solution I've adopted for this is Applixware.  I bought their student
version of the 4.2 suite and it works nice.  Out of the box it only exports
in RTF format, but Word can read that.  In additon, they sell filter packs
which work both with the 6.X versions of Word, as well as the Office 95 suite.
