Thanks to Heath and Edward I'm quite a step ahead now:
(1)recompiled kernel 2.0.25
(2)reinstalled modules-2.1.8 & pcmcia-cs-2.9.0
During boot I get the following messages:
modprobe Can't locate module net-pf-4
modprobe Can't locate module net-pf-5
modprobe Can't locate module net-pf-4
modprobe Can't locate module net-pf-5
Much less then before! Can anyone tell me how to point modprobe to the right
direction?
And then:
I want to use dip and a ppp-script to connect to my Internetprovider, just
like I do on my pc at home.
When I give the command 'dip ppp-script' will kerneld
automatically take care of the modemcard?
How can I make a symlink from my modemcard [a Psion GoldCard V34] to
/dev/modem, so that my pppscript will find it?
Thanks in advance & again,
Roef Ragas
