Are you sure you recompiled your kernel with /dev/audio and
/dev/sndstat support that time?? Why is your SB on DMA 4?? I never
seen it to be on DMA 4. Check your SB manual. Mine says that the 
default standard setting is 5. If yours says the same, re-compile with
it
with 5 instead of 4.
