If you got the .tar.gz version directly from NetScape, the README and
Netscape.ad are what I was talking about and they should be in the same
directory as everything else. They suggest:

move the *.gz file into a convenient directory and issue the following
command:

gzip -dc the-file.tar.gz | tar -xvf -

Assuming you've got X running, you should then be able to execute netscape.

IF you've got an rpm'ed version, you should be able to install it via Glint
[in X] or rpm.

If that gives you any trouble let me know and mention which version you're
installing and I'll step through it.

Regards,
S.
