I have a Compaq Deskpro 4000, 1G hard-drive, 900M primary, 100M swap, 32M RAM.
It has built-in ethernet but we've installed a 3com etherlink III 3c509B-TP for
which there is kernel support.
When we're installing RedHat 4.0 and we get to the configure LAN part what extra
module parameters do we type in if auto-probe fails?
Is it the same as the LILO boot parameters? we know the IRQ and the base address
for the card. plug n play has been disabled as well.
