Most of time I find that everybody is using CND because of the desktop.
Anyway what I found is that actually you do not need the CND distribution
to use the desktop. Actually what the CND does is installs two packages
called lg*.rpm and lga*.rpm and you have the desktop running... the
calderize*.rpms are only the configurations of lg that are installed in
the /etc/skel and so on.
So if you have a previous CND release what you could do is copying the lg
and lga rpms to your box and install it using the available rpm even if
you're running RH-4.0.
Believe me it works fine!
