Howto Backup/Restore of DOS/Win95 partition under Linux

I find the following method to backup WIN95. Hope this help.
1. Install Windows 95, create start up disk when requested.
2. Complete Windows 95 installation.
3. Install all other packages if necessary.
4. Copy LFNBK.EXE from WIN95 CD under directory
\admin\apptools\lfnback. Read LFNBK.TXT for details of program
information.
5. Turn off tunneling.
->Control Panel
->System
->Performance
->File System
->Toubleshooting
->check the option named Disable Long Name
Preservation for Old Programs.
6. Close all other applications. LFNBK cannot rename open files.
7. At the RUN command prompt, type lfnbk /b to back up and remove long
filenames.
8. Boot up WIN95 in DOS mode.
9. **** Backup all the WIN95 directory to LINUX, can use PKZIP or BACKUP, made
sure backup system/hidden file/s in main directory. ****
10. Boot target machine using the Windows 95 start up disk.
11. Restore/decompress the backup set, made sure the system files is over
written.
12. Execute FDISK /MBR and SYS C:
13. Reboot target machine into Windows 95.
14. At the RUN command prompt, type lfnbk /r to restore long filenames.
15. Turn tunneling on again, and then restart the computer.
16. Done. Enjoy :-)
