Right,
Got RH4.0 going on a server crammed with users now, and we all know how
irritating users are at finding bugs are, don't we! :-)
1) ytalk, when invoked from the console, prints a square block whenever
backspace is pressed. I had this problem with the ytalk version I had with
slackware, until I "upgraded" to the non-8-bit version.
2) The terminal libraries don't seem aware of the "dec-" prefix e.g.
"dec-vt100", "dec-vt220". This greatly surprises me since surely these are
common. Several people noticed this immediately.
3) After installing XFree86-3.2, all was fine, apart from the known
duplicate fonts problem (...fix?), and the fact all my buttons that used
to appear (kill, xterm, etc) have become very small! I also had this
problem when I upgraded to 3.2 on my personal machine. But that magically
fixed itself after a few hours playing around.
Cheers,
Chris.
