I'm running the default vlock, xlock from the devel tree (which is linked
with libpam), and shadow passwords. However, neither of these programs
seems to recognize user passwords. the /etc/pam.conf entries look like:
# vlock authorization
vlock auth required /lib/security/pam_unix_auth.so
and
# xlock authorization
xlock auth required /lib/security/pam_unix_auth.so
i know xlock is officially broken with pam/shadow (that's why i'm using
the devel version), but vlock at least was supposed to work. rpm -V shows
that xlockmore, vlock, and pam are fully intact. Pam is the latest fixed
version.
