Everytime I encounter a Java applet on the Net netscape crashes. In
addition, it also leaves a lock file in the .netscape directory that is
symlinked to some IP address (i.e. lock -> 1.0.0.27:1024). Do I need java
for Linux? I have the java_30 file included with Netscape in my
/usr/local/lib/netscape directory. Is that right? According to the
README file it's okay. Oh! I have a S3 Trio 64 w/2MB RAM video card a
Micron 15" multisync monitor set at 640x480, colors:256. Thanks in
advance.
