Mounting Message Question

I just have a simple question I hope. I have just started
getting this message upon bootup:

Mounting Local Filesystem
mount: fs type defaults, noauto,user rw not supported by kernel

This doesn't seem to be a problem, since everything mounts and
works correctly, but I've never seen it before.
I see in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit where it calls this with:

echo "Mounting local filesystems."
mount -a -t nonfs

Have I left something out of the kernel the last time I built
it ? This must be the problem, but I don't know what dumb thing
I must have left out.
