Had an Epson ZIP100 going on a friend's Computer. Used Colgate's "stock"
2.0.18 Modular Kernel by adding a "alias scsi_hostadapter ppa" line to
"/etc/conf.modules". Generated a new "/boot/initrd" with the "mkinitrd"
Script and I was in business!
From the ZIP HOWTO it mentions the current 2.0.X Kernels do NOT support
Printer Pass-through and the Parallel Port must be set to the Standard
Mode. If you were building a Monolithic Kernel you would need "SCSI" and
"SCSI Disk" Support enabled in addition to the "PPA" Support.
