Installing 2.0.25 Kernel with Lilo and Redhat 4.0

My guess is you didn't get the new kernel from
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/zImage
and put it where ever your /etc/lilo.conf says it should be with
the name its looking for. Then re-run lilo.
Such as /etc/lilo.conf:
image=/boot/linux-2.0.18 <-- This is my zImage file renamed
label=linux-backup
root=/dev/sda3
read-only
alias=lb
other=/dev/sda1
label=win
table=/dev/sda
alias=dos
