Not true, we run it under XFree right now. And depending on your level
of linux/unix knowledge, Accelerated-X CDE is one sweet deal.
I have seen Mosaic, Ishmail, XEmacs, XMCD, XMMIX, TkNet, ApplixWare,
LyX, NEDIT, Axene, etc., etc., all working just fine under CDE.
Of course with any high end motif widgets, CDE is needs a min of
32megs in my opinion.
