I have set up a new system with RedHat 4.0. I have done this in the
past and had no problems. I have installed EVERYTHING to enable YP but
it still does not work. The domainname is set correctly. When I try to
run ypbind I get a core dump(I know I don't need to run it but it works
on my other Linux boxes). Other YP software like ypcat or yppoll return
the following error when I attempt to run them: No such map
passwd.byname. Reason: args to NIS function are bad.

Any Ideas? I am pulling my hair out.

			TIA,
			  Mark Rizzo
