Hi.
I´m running RedHat 3.0.3 and currently trying to get my Linux-machine to
answer incoming calls.
I´ve tried to duplicate the configuration in the Serial-HOWTO, that doesn´t
work, I´ve tried to use the configuration-files supplied with getty_ps in
RedHat, that works better, I can see the modem resetting itself on boot and
shutdown but it still doesn´t answer the call.
I know my init-strings could be the problem but they seem to work ok in
Minicom and such (that is, the modem responds as it should) so I believe
they´re fine.. It´s probably just me doing something (or several things
more likely) very wrong.
If someone could PLEASE send me their configuration-files for this I could
atleast narrow it down to the init-strings, if I just knew the config-files
were fine.
The modem I use is a USR Courier VEverything, I´ve tried it on a Sportster
Voice too with the same result.
