Thats what we thought too, until we looked at the switch stats for
our etherswitch and saw just as many FCS and alignment errors at
100 Mbps as we saw collisions at 10 Mbps. A properly run card should
show virtually no errors at 100 Mbps full duplex. Funny thing, the
linux kernel reported the FCS and alignment errors as collisions, which
shouldn't happen in full duplex. It may have been trying to autoswitch
between half and full. (The switch can't autoswitch, it has dip switches
for half/full)
