I have seen parts of this topic covered before on this list, but
never really paid any attention. I have an "old" 386 with 8mb of
memory and an ESDI 160mb disk and would like to install RedHat on
it so the machine can be used as a gateway machine. It needs to
allow access from a local network for telnet/ftp usage and also
acquire pop mail. This needs to be a SLIP/PPP connection to an ISP
with a dynamic IP supplied. The system also needs to dial on demand
for requests from users. Has someone done this type of package
before that can point me in the right direction? If I can this
to work, I would be more than happy to provide a HOW-TO on the
subject.
