Hi, I'm not on the mailing list anymore due to the fact I can't seperate
my business mail from the hundreds of redhat list mails a day. I have
sent two mails to Redhat support, but haven't had an answer sofar.
So, I was hoping if anyone could help me on this...
I have included two mails I wrote:

Hi,
I have currently problems installing RH 4.0 on my DEC/Alpha 2000 AXP
I try to boot my machine with OSF. There, I can do "BOOT DKA400" to try
to boot from CDROM. Then, 'aboot' asks for the kernel to be used. I
don't know what to do here. I've tried almost everything (i.e.:
boot,kernels/jensen.gz,live,-). The FAQ's tell me the problem can be
solved by using a MILO loader. Problem is that I can't find the right
image for a MILO installation for my DEC 2000 AXP.
My previous boot loader (when I was using 3.0.3) worked fine. I've tried
to use the boot loader in combination with the installation guide too.
No success unfortunately.
If you could tell me how to solve this, I'd appreciate it.
(NOTE:"the Jensen can't boot from floppy drive, so I _have_ to use the
cdrom. Or, a guide for MILO for Jensen Alpha's...)

I've tried to find MILO. But I've also found out that it's not possible
to use MILO with Jensen machines. Is that right?
This is what I get when I try to boot from cdrom:
>>> boot dka400
INIT-S-CPU...
AUDIT_BOOT_STARTS ...
AUDIT_CHECKSUM_GOOD
AUDIT_LOAD_BEGINS
AUDIT_LOAD_DONE
aboot: Linux/Alpha SRM bootloader version 0.5
aboot: switching to OSF/1 PALcode version 1.35
aboot: no disklabel found
aboot: booted_dev=`scsi 1 6 0 0 400 0 jens-io', guessing
boot_device=`scd0'
iso: Max size:320424 Log zone size:2048
iso: First datazone:68 Root inode number 139264
aboot: loading plain ...
aboot: unexpected object file format 1020
aboot: loading compressed ...
unzip: unknown compression method
Enter kernel name and arguments:
aboot>
And then I don't know what to do. I want to install it to DKA0. I've
tried about everything: tried to boot from 'boot', from 'live', from the
root... from other disks, but I can't find the right one... I just need
to install it from cdrom, since my floppy drive isn't bootable for a
Jensen.
Could you please help me from here?
Thanks in advance,
Maurice Castelijn.
