Hello,

I think that NT will try to install its boot-loader over LILO on hda1. Do save
the Master Boot Record and the bootsector on hda1 before installing NT.
There is a lot of info on the net regarding Linux, NT, Win95, DOS.
Check out http://www.owlnet.rice.edu/~sedmison/directboot.html.

I have the following configuration:
hda1: 1.2GB, FAT, DOS (win3.11)
hdb1: 512MB, FAT, NT system files
hdb2: 2.5GB, NTFS, NT applications
hdc1: 1.1Gb, ext2fs, Linux
hdc2: 0.1Gb, ext2fs, Linux swap

I noticed that when I installed Linux I got the infamous ...BIOS 0x82 error. This
error occurred when I tried to install LILO on hdc1 (and fd0??).
I suppose that this is due to the fact that LILO doesn't like to boot on hdc1
which is not reachable through BIOS???. The solution is to create a small boot-
partition on hda where the Linux boot program can reside (approx 1-2MB), I will
try that ASAP.
I can boot NT, DOS and Linux today, but there seems to be something wrong
with Linux when i press Ctrl+Alt+Del at login prompt (it hangs).
