Hi,
I finally persuaded one of my friends to try out RedHat.
Everything worked fine, all devices recognized, except
his printer. Has anyone ever managed to print anything
out with that one? We modified /etc/printcap multiple
times to no avail, lpd is running, jobs get queued
in /var/spool/lp0, but nothing never comes out of the
printer diespite it makes some noises. :( We also tried
'cat some_file.txt > lp0', then it prints but makes stairs
like:

This
is some text
printed with
Brother HL -630 damn stupid printer.

I also found someone posted a filter on this list
about a month ago, so I tried that filter as well,
to no avail.
Anyone please help!
