is the standard book on Linux. If you can get only one book, get it.
--Unix Power Tools by Jerry Peek, Tim O'Reilly and Mike Loukides
(published by O'Reilly and Random House) doesn't mention Linux at all!
However, I found all the little tips it provides are an excellent
introduction to 'thinking' in Unix.
