You could build a proxy server on the Linux box. Get the Apache
sources and do what it says for the proxy module; they say it's an
experimental version but it works for me, at the same time as the same
server is serving 'real' web pages, on the same port. I've had no
trouble building Apache out of the box on various Sun and Linux boxes.
