I am at seventh hour now, no qmail even near in sight:( and my punch-bag
is trying to hide from me everytime I get near her:)
I tired RPM, then I got and compiled the source. I read docs, although I
find them uncomprehensible at places. I am sure this is due to my limited
knowledge, and not to deficiencies in the documents. It really looks to
me like I have to put up with whatever the security problems of sendmail
might be, since installation of qmail requires way more experience than I
have.
Now, if I could only get my exmh to work with sendmail again....

OK, I admit, this hint tells me nothing. I only know that exmh was
working before, and now it desn't. I also think that sendmail is working
OK (I can send email from command line). If exmh shouldn't try to use
local SMPT, how do I stop it from doing so?

I know I get overly optimistic at times:) However, after my experience I
would say, don't try to set it up unless you really know what you are
doing.
