Hi all. Upon doing 'insmod ppp' from my newly installed 4.0, I received
the all-too-common messages regarding module symbols from 2.0.18 don't
match linux-2.0.18. How could this happen? I checked
/usr/src/linux/Documentation, and the module mini howto, but don't see the
answer.. Can someone point me in the right direction?

How can this happen? I just installed, and haven't made any changes..
Which /proc file will tell me if ppp is already compiled in the kernel?

Thanks,
Dave Wreski
