Hi,
I have a postscript printer that I set it up in 'control-panel'. I read
the howto, scanned through this list and recompiled my kernel.
Here's what happens with postscript files:
lpr test.ps <-- my printer blinks, but doesn't
print
cat test.ps > /dev/lp1 <-- THIS PRINTS!
Here's what happens with ascii files (with printer in PCL mode):
lpr -Ppcl test.txt <-- my printer prints illegibly
...
(a few words can be
seen)
Thanks for any help,
Tim
