Not by default of course.  But all you need to do is install the source
rpm.  You will find the sharedactive.patch in the
/usr/src/redhat/SOURCES/inn1.4unoff4/UNOFF-NOTES directory.  Copy
the patch into your nnrpd directory and patch < sharedactive.patch and
that should take care of it.  I found however that if you are taking a 
full news feed then you should increase the values for maximum expected
number of groups and amount of memory to set aside depending on your
active file size.  We set aside 1.5 MB and room for about 30000 groups.
I also set XSEM_UNDO to SEM_UNDO.  See the source for a discussion of
this.   Now, if there were only a place where you can find all this tribal
knowledge.  Hope O'Reilly's INN book next spring is good.
